ABOUT HBTU TBIF
Innovation is the key for every economy to grow and innovation takes place at every layer of society. Youth of the country and the university system play a crucial role at every step to shape the innovation ecosystem. To build startup and innovation culture across through Knowledge Incubation is the key goal of Startup action plan. The Incubation Hub at HBTU was established under the HBTU Act 2016, with a focus on fostering industry-academia-society interaction and innovation. Initiated in 2015 within the Civil Engineering Department, the hub aims to promote research, skill development, and entrepreneurship. It provides critical support to budding entrepreneurs, including facilities for R&D, legal, financial, and marketing assistance. Over the years, the hub has grown into a full fledged ecosystem, further strengthened by collaborations such as the National Initiative for Design Innovation Centre (DIC) with IIT Kanpur.
